Welcome to episode eleven of This Angry Silence! This is a no-bullshit music podcast. You won't hear me drone on about how amazing my music tastes, all you will hear is cool songs from my computer...if you don't like a song choice let me know and I'll plan future shows accordingly.
This episode is a random mix of tracks. I took a week off so I tried extra hard to make something that kicks ass. And cause I'm a huge douche 34 minutes in it abruptly switches to experimental sound. But whatever.

The show starts off with a KILLER early pink floyd song from before the band was called pink floyd, I found this on a syd barrett bootleg called beyond rhyme nor reason. It has a lot of bullshit, and it has nuggets like this. I'm no smiths superfan but "hand in glove" is probably the best "80's style" track I have ever heard. Next we have the notorious noise makers jesus mary chain doing a groovy acoustic track on some faggy bbc show. Here is a great jandek song, if you listen closely you will hear the part where the un-named second vocalist switches off with the corwood representative himself. Then a nice holy shit song that is a hilarious ripoff of "turning japanese", and the first track from slint's only good album. Most of tv on the radio's b-sides are boring or stupid, and this one should have been on return to cookie mountain, instead of stupid bullshit like "let the devil in." more genius acoustic billy corgan, how the fuck are people able to make such amazing things? Then a hard left turn into top notch free jazz thats too free for ken burns to bother mentioning in his shitty jazz documentary, then sun city girls doing a classic mood piece, and a bizarre track by the bizarre band smegma from a split release they did with NON.

Shagalicious...nice choices. I used to listen to the Smiths a lot e.g. "Shoplifters of the World Unite"
but Morrissey on his own can make you suicidal. Great mix.
