I really love biggies music, and this remix is fan-fucking tastic! Too bad its low quality, but beggars can't be choosers I guess. Everyone knows about Public Enemy...their album "Fear of a black planet" is very high regarded but it is unlistenable. The reason why is that it is mixed terribly. Too much fucking bass, the mix has no empty space. This track is the exact opposite, minimalistic in the perfect way, and it brings da funk. More nas, still from his first album, which is my favorite of his. This wu-tang track was on fishscale which is technically a ghostface album, but seeing as how the track features almost every wu-tang member, it really should have been on 8 diagrams, which suffered from too much filler. Everyone knows about n.w.a, this is my favorite song by them. It has a perfect beat - church bells with stereo ping pong! I love ping pong! The lyrics are amazingly surreal. Not a single bad thing about this song to say. dead prez are an underground rap duo, this is a great track by them. Their song "fuck the law" is great too but I only have it on vinyl. I love aesop rock (in measured doses) and tracks like this just blow me the fuck away. the message by grandmaster flash. i had heard about this song for eons but just checked it out recently and loved it. Its like rappers delight as far as da funk goes, but the lyrics actually have a point! I heard idlewild by outkast wasn't that good, gave it a listen and discovered the song "the train" which is now my favorite outkast song. a tribe is classic 90's rap, this is a lesser known song by them that precluded the trend of songs built off a single vocal sample (like a milli and everyday i'm hustlin)
