This Angry Silence Episode 19: Put Them In The Closet

Welcome to episode 19 of This Angry Silence! This is a no-bullshit music podcast. You won't hear me drone on about how amazing my music tastes, all you will hear is cool songs from my computer...if you don't like a song choice let me know and I'll plan future shows accordingly.

This episode is a random mix of tracks...whatever I feel like basically...

Start off with david bowie, I think he is sort of overrated...this song is good though...tom waits is great, this is one my favorite tracks by him...I used to be a big immortal technique fan...i'm not as much anymore but this track is still really nice. jack rose is an amazing guitarist, this is a rather brief example of his talents. gang of four are one of my favorite 80s bands. jandek is a guy from texas thats released 54 cds or so, this is from his only "true blues" album, and its a great track with dylan-esque vocals and that sweet fender reverb. Throbbing Gristle are one of the best known industrial bands of the late 70s early 80s, this is from their recent reunion album, their lead singers a chick now...weird shit. this heat are an interesting band, i havent taken enough time to listen to them but i like this track quite a bit. I'll admit, I'm a big fan of interpols first two albums. jay reatard is sort of overrated, some of his latest songs are iffy, I dunno i liked him better when he was straight punk. But this track works. Close with a great sir richard bishop jam from 1996 or 1997 that sounds like the ending of a movie and the perfect way to end the podcast.
