Crisis was an anti-fascist band and curiously like half the band turned out to be nazis or nazi sympathizers. Ya just can't win! This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb plays folk-punk and they do it perfectly. errr...not much more to say about this episode except that death in june has a guy that used to be in crisis. bleh.

37:22 John Cage - Dream

lets get this description over with! first track: i think sonic youth are overrated (and i even like that faggy noise crap) but this song is an exception to the rule. girls against boys are an underrated grunge band, most will recognize their song kill the sex player from the movie clerks you may or may not have heard about, i wont hold your feet to the fire over that...its a neat song, cool breakdown. everyone likes the ramones, and i like the demo version of this song better than the released version, cause of the false starts. the dwarves are a punk band that never fails to dissapoint. this song has signifigance to me cause i listenend to it right before i lost my virginity...next track is a classic johnny cash song written by some nutjob in prison who later became sort of famous...soul asylum are an overrated band but this song they did for the credits of Clerks is great...gogol bordello are ALSO overrated but this track kicks it....my second favorite smiths song after "hand in glove"...i loves me some sun ra. just letting you know, most of his stuff isn't this "normal"....and john cage is an example that faggy modern music can still be great...

This episode is a mix of acoustic tracks, at paulos suggestion and I'm glad he did. And of course five minutes after I was done I thought of more stuff, but lord knows there will always be more episodes.

Jamie is an average weezer b-side, actually now that I think about it most of their b-sides are terrible (besides mykel and carli) and this live version fuckin slams, complete with three part harmony. sunset rubdown is the solo project/band of spencer krug from wolf parade, this is from their latest, slightly disappointing album. jandek is a recluse from texas that is most know for anti-folk music, its all out of tune and depressing. this is a standout track by him, an unnamed vocalist (presumed to be eddie) gives one of the most desperate vocal performances in musical history...skip james can't touch this! the guitar is amazing too, it is just open stringed acoustic, played in the most harrowing fashion possible. everyone knows beck, this is a daniel johnston cover he recently did, one of his best works. czar tara choy vii is the musical duo of my friends zack and vic, google their name to download a show i recorded of them. i saw alan and sir richard bishop live, it was amazing and they played bitter cold country side, one of my favorite SCG songs. Daniel johnston has bipolar and is really awkward, this is a standout track by him. bright eyes is all emo, i know but they used to be great, this is from fevers and mirrors. gogol bordello have been known to be overhyped but they have made some standout tracks. handsome furs is some guy dan from wolf parade and his wife, the last track of their only cd is a nice acoustic number. the last track is a terribly obvious avant-garde joke.
